CLC calls UFBU for meeting on 8th September

The Office of the Chief Labour Commissioner (Central) has initiated conciliation proceedings following the strike notice issued by the United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU). CLC has called UFBU for a meeting on 8th September 2026.

A conciliation meeting has been scheduled for September 8, 2026, at 2:30 PM at the Conference Room of Shramev Jayate Bhawan, Sector 10, Dwarka, New Delhi.

Earlier, the meeting was scheduled to be held on September 7, 2026. However, the meeting was not held today, i.e., September 7. The CLC has now issued another notice and called the UFBU for a meeting on September 8. UFBU has proposed an all-India strike on September 11, another strike from September 28 to 30, and a continuous strike from October 26, 2026.
