Employees of the North Bihar Gramin Bank, led by the North Bihar Gramin Bank Employees Federation and Officer Federation, staged a protest at the regional office in Ekmi Ghat. They voiced their grievances against the Darbhanga Regional Manager’s authoritarian conduct, accusing him of arbitrary actions. According to Federation President Pradeep Kumar Mishra, over 60 officers from Darbhanga district participated in the demonstration.
The protesters, including Pradeep Kumar Mishra, Neeraj Kumar Chaudhary, Praveen Kumar, Bhaskar Kumar, Shambhu Kumar Sandilya, Raj Kishore Sah, Roshan Kumar Jha, Tripurari Chaturvedi, MK Sharma, Kumar Shekhar, Surendra Narayan Mishra, and Dhirendra Jha, highlighted ongoing issues with the regional manager’s behavior. Mishra asserted that despite repeated warnings to the regional manager and notifying the bank’s higher-ups—chairman, general manager, and chief manager—the problematic behavior persisted. Instead of addressing staff concerns, the senior management reportedly supported the regional manager’s actions.

President Mishra emphasized that since assuming the role, the regional manager has allegedly subjected officers and employees to harassment with impunity. Mishra accused the manager of disregarding established bank protocols and jeopardizing the future of the bank’s staff.
