Big Fraud: Asirvad Finance employees created fake aadhaar cards and gave fake loans

Recently, a fraud has been discovered in Asirvad Micro Finance Limited. The employees of this company were involved in distributing loans to fake people. They created fake aadhaar cards and sanctioned fake loans worth Rs 1.25 crores.

Now, the Sahjanwan police in Gorakhpur have arrested the accused. The accused, identified as Amit Yadav alias Suraj, is a resident of Dihwa in the PPganj police station area. During the interrogation, it was revealed that Amit used to prepare fake Aadhaar cards and provide them to employees of Ashirwad Micro Finance, who would then use them to open accounts and obtain loans fraudulently. The accused has been produced in court and subsequently sent to jail.

The embezzlement case was initially reported in 2022 when an officer of Asirvad Micro Finance Limited filed a complaint at the Sahajanwan police station. The complaint stated that Rs 1 crore 25 lakh 59 thousand had been embezzled from their branch located in the local police station area. The employees of the branch were involved in creating fake Aadhaar cards for 301 individuals, opening accounts in Airtel Payment Bank, and obtaining loans fraudulently.

The accused employees deposited Rs 6.25 lakh in the fake accounts, while the remaining Rs 1 crore 25 lakh 59 thousand was misappropriated. Vikas, who had connections with the finance employees, was responsible for creating the fake Aadhaar cards. The police have already arrested three employees in connection with the case and are searching for two more individuals.
