Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates applying for BDCC Bank Recruitment 2026 must be citizens of India. Applicants should also be able to read, write and speak Kannada.

  • Second Division Clerk: Candidates applying for the Second Division Clerk post must possess a Bachelor’s degree such as BA, B.Sc or B.Com from a university legally established and recognised in India. Basic knowledge of computer operations and applications is also required. Candidates who have completed a computer-related course may submit the relevant certificate as proof of their computer knowledge.
  • Gun Man: Candidates applying for the Gun Man post must have passed SSLC/Class 10 or an equivalent examination. The candidate should also be a retired armed forces personnel with weapons training or an Ex-Serviceman and must possess a valid Arm License.
  • Bank Peon: For the Peon post, candidates must have passed SSLC/Class 10 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board or institution.

Age Limit

The age of candidates will be calculated as on 27 August 2026, which is the last date for payment of the application fee.

Application Fee

Candidates are required to pay the application fee online through the payment gateway available on the recruitment portal.

  • All Other Categories: ₹1,000 + Applicable Bank Gateway Charges

The application fee can be paid only through online mode. Payment through Demand Draft, Cheque, Postal Order or Money Order will not be accepted.

Once paid, the application fee will not be refunded or adjusted against any other recruitment. Corrections or changes related to fee payment will also not be entertained after 27 August 2026.

  • A merit list will be prepared based on candidates’ performance in the written examination. Candidates will then be shortlisted for the interview in a ratio of 1:5 against the available vacancies.
  • The interview will carry a maximum of 15 marks. The final merit list will be prepared by combining the marks obtained in the written examination and interview. Final appointments will be made according to merit and the applicable reservation policy.
