  1. After studying the case meticulously, it reveals that the referred committed suicide female employee did not discuss with her controller or had no knowledge about the recently framed policy “liberalised transfer policy of female working in PSBs. She even did not think about her family, leaving two minor sons and husband. Nothing is endless and solutionless on the earth except death.
may be there some other reasons for taking this tragic steps by the female employee.
only this reason obviously doesn’t indicate for suicide because to opt assignment of Manager and have responsibility of work on her shoulders is not a small decision. In nutshell, generally working females faces triangle problem related to, officially, family and in- laws, so this issue is very small against transfer issue. But to committ suicide is not the solution of any problem. Work load may be seen in every Banks. Transfers are parts and partial of service class person.

  2. Bank of India has a long history of harassing female employees in transfer cases. Even Mahila Ayog refused to intervene in one case. In another case employee request for transfer on health ground was considered but was transfered to a branch which was to be closed shortly in reorganisation and transferred to far off place.
