Bank of Baroda Recruitment 2025 for FLC Post in Hisar Haryana: Bank of Baroda (BOB) has released notification for recruitment of candidates to the post of Financial Literacy Counselor on contractual basis in Hissar. Eligibility
The candidate must possess a graduate degree from a recognized university. Preference will be given to those holding a postgraduate degree in Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Sociology, Psychology, or Social Work. It is essential that the candidate is well conversant with the local language and has a flair for teaching, along with basic computer knowledge. Candidates for the post of FLC Counsellor may be selected from the open market. They should have sound knowledge of banking, insurance, investment, pension, law, finance, and must possess strong communication and team-building skills.
In terms of experience, the candidate must meet any one of the following criteria: be an ex-banker in officer cadre with a minimum of five years of experience in a Nationalized Bank, Regional Rural Bank (RRB), or Private Bank; or have at least five years of experience in banking or related fields, NBFCs, or Financial Institutions; or have worked as a Business Correspondent (BC) or BC-Coordinator for a minimum of five years. Alternatively, candidates who have served as RSETI Directors for at least three years, or as RSETI Faculty members for at least five years, are also eligible.
Age Limit
- Maximum age should not be more than 64 years subject to good health.
Salary
The remuneration for the FLC Counsellor is structured as a consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 25,000/-, with an additional reimbursement of up to Rs. 5,000/- towards conveyance expenses, depending on the number of camps conducted. The total possible monthly remuneration is Rs. 30,000/-. If fewer than 10 camps are conducted, the conveyance reimbursement will be Rs. 3,000/-; if more than 10 camps are conducted, the reimbursement will be Rs. 5,000/-.
To qualify for the conveyance allowance, the camps must be held away from the FLC center, and no vehicular facility should be availed from the LDM/RO. The FLC Counsellor is responsible for conducting camps across the entire district under the jurisdiction of the FLC, and any claims for conveyance allowance can be disallowed by the LDM/RO/Base Branch with proper justifications. The FLC Counsellor must submit a monthly visit diary of the financial literacy camps to their reporting authority, such as the RSETI Director, Lead Bank Manager, or Branch Head of the base branch.
This report must then be forwarded to the Zonal Manager, with a copy sent to the RO, before the monthly remuneration is released. Payments are made after the verification of the monthly visit diary by the Zonal Office. In cases of a service period of less than one month, the remuneration is paid on a pro-rata basis. Additionally, statutory tax deductions will be applied as per applicable laws by the paying authority.
