Mangaluru: Bank of Baroda organised town hall meeting for its staff. All the staff across across various branches of Bank of Baroda was invited to the event.
During the event, Beena Vaheed, the Executive Director of the bank, highlighted the importance of maintaining consistent and innovative customer engagement across all bank branches. She emphasized that in today’s competitive banking environment, customer experience should be the top priority.
She explained that the ambience of a branch plays a crucial role in shaping a customer’s first impression. A clean, welcoming, and well-organized branch can immediately create a sense of trust and comfort for customers. According to her, ensuring that customers receive seamless, respectful, and prompt service should be the primary responsibility of every bank employee.

The bank also released a statement quoting her remarks, underlining how important it is to meet customer expectations from the moment they enter a branch.
Rajesh Khanna, General Manager and Zonal Head for Mangaluru, shared details about the bank’s performance in the first quarter (Q1). He presented key statistics showing the bank’s market share and overall performance across various business indicators.
He also spoke about the ongoing efforts to improve customer satisfaction in the Mangaluru zone. These efforts include upgrading branch infrastructure, providing training to staff to improve service quality, and implementing other customer-friendly initiatives.
The bank’s leadership made it clear that both physical improvements in branches and better customer service are essential to enhancing the overall banking experience.
