Bank of Baroda issues Advisory, “ZERO Tolerance towards misbehaviour”

After reports of various incidents of employee harassment in Bank of Baroda, now the management has formally issued an advisory to all Zonal and Regional functionaries, outlining the following significant measures:
- Team Meetings are to be scheduled only between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM, barring exceptional situations.
- A maximum of three campaigns will run at any given time, excluding government-sponsored schemes.
- Zero tolerance will be shown towards misbehaviour or the use of inappropriate/abusive language by any employee, regardless of their designation or role. Such Misconduct will be viewed seriously and dealt with in accordance with Bank’s disciplinary framework.
Recently, Employees in Chandigarh complained about Day End Check and Forced Late Sitting. Bank of Baroda Officers raised their voice against Toxic Work Culture in Chandigarh.
Not only this, Bank of Baroda Officers are not satisfied with the internal promotion exercise. They say that the promotion exercise lacks transparency. Bank of Baroda Employees have moved CLC against Unfair Promotion Exercise.
The most distressing incident was the suicide of Chief Manager in Pune. Bank of Baroda Chief Manager in Baramati Pune Died by Suicide Due to extreme Work Pressure.
This advisory is a commendable step that will go a long way in fostering a more balanced and conducive work environment for officers.
All India Bank of Baroda Officers’ association has urged all members to remain in touch with their respective Regional or Zonal office bearers or feel free to contact the undersigned directly for any issue or concern that may still need to be addressed.
