Bank DA hike from 1st August, Check New DA Rates
The Dearness Allowance (DA) for bank employees has been increased by 2.13%, from 25.70% to 27.83%, for the period August 2026 to October 2026. The revised DA has been calculated based on the average Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 150.86 for April–June 2026. The increased DA will be effective from 1 August 2026.

The new Dearness Allowance has been fixed at 27.83%, up from the existing 25.70%. This means bank employees will receive an additional 2.13% DA from August 2026.
Consumer Price Index Used for DA Calculation
The revised DA has been calculated using the average Consumer Price Index (CPI) for April, May, and June 2026.

Salary to Increase from August 2026

The revised DA will be added to the monthly salary of bank employees from 1 August 2026. The DA has been revised under the 12th Bipartite Settlement and is calculated based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI). This helps employees cope with the rising cost of living and inflation.
