On Thursday, an unidentified individual wearing a mask entered YES bank located in Harsawa village of a district in Himachal Pradesh, India. The person was carrying a bomb and proceeded to loot ₹24 lakh in cash after threatening the bank staff, as reported by the police.
The masked individual demanded money from the staff, threatening to detonate the bomb if they didn’t comply. One of the employees handed over ₹1.25 lakh, but the miscreant demanded more. Subsequently, the individual entered the cashier room and collected the cash in a bag.
After locking the bank’s main gate, the accused fled the scene. Fortunately, there were no customers present inside the bank at the time of the incident. The local police are currently investigating the matter, and they are examining the CCTV footage from the bank and surrounding areas to aid in their search for the culprit.
