Youth creates Chaos at Canara Bank in Gorakhpur UP, arrested by Police

Campirganj, Gorakhpur: A youth created chaos and damaged property at the Canara Bank branch on Wednesday afternoon. Police reached the spot after receiving information and took the accused, Hridayesh Singh, into custody. He was later booked under sections related to breach of peace.

According to reports, around 1 p.m., the man entered the bank and started arguing with the staff without any reason. When the employees asked him to calm down, he began damaging the counter and furniture. Branch Manager Hemant Kumar immediately informed the Canpiyarganj police.

When the police arrived, the youth also argued and resisted arrest, but after much effort, he was overpowered and taken to the police station. The detained person was identified as Hridayesh Singh, who is reportedly a Marketing Officer at Punjab National Bank (PNB), Gorakhpur.

Sources said that Hridayesh Singh is mentally unstable (partially insane) and has previously created disturbances in other bank branches as well. Campirganj Police Station in-charge Rakesh Kumar Roshan stated that action has been taken under the peace disturbance law and that his family has been informed.
