Passkeys are a modern, secure way to log in to apps and websites without using passwords. Instead of typing a password, you can use biometric authentication such as your fingerprint, face recognition, PIN, or swipe pattern. This creates a completely passwordless login experience across your devices.
Passkeys work using advanced encryption technology. When you create a passkey, your device generates two digital keys — one stays securely on your device (private key) and the other is stored with the website or app (public key). When you log in, your device confirms your identity using the private key. Your actual login credentials are never shared, making it much safer.
