Moradabad: A young bank employee living in a rented house in Civil Lines area committed suicide by hanging herself in her room on Saturday afternoon. On getting the information, relatives reached the location. Police have taken the girl’s mobile in their possession for investigation.
Pratibha Rana, daughter of Rajendra Rana, resident of Subodh Nagar in Amroha Kotwali area, was an employee in Axis Bank Harthala. She was living in a rented house in Indraprastha Colony for about one and a half years. At night, the bank employee committed suicide by hanging herself.
When she did not go to the bank on Saturday morning, the other tenants called out, but there was no response from her. When she did not come out even till afternoon, the tenants called the landlord. After this, when they looked inside the room, they found Pratibha hanging from a noose.
The nearby people informed the police. The police opened the door and took down the girl’s body from the noose. The forensic team also reached.
The police informed the girl’s family about the incident. The girl’s father said, “My daughter hadn’t mentioned any problems to us. We used to talk on the phone every day.”
Police are investigation the case and more details will be released soon.
