What Happened?

A young man from Orai, who works as a cashier at the SBI branch in Kadaura, had met a woman from Banda through a matrimonial website. The two had been talking for almost a year, and the woman claims that their relationship was finalized for marriage.

However, things took a turn when the cashier found out that the woman was divorced. After this, he stopped communicating with her, which upset the woman. Feeling betrayed, she decided to go to the bank and confront him.

Chaos Inside the Bank

On Thursday, the woman entered the bank and started shouting at the cashier, accusing him of breaking his promise to marry her. The sudden outburst created chaos inside the bank, and many customers and employees gathered to see what was happening.

The cashier, however, denied the allegations. He claimed that no marriage was ever fixed and that the woman was forcing him to marry her, which is why he had cut off communication with her.

Police Intervention

As the situation escalated, the bank staff informed the police. Officers from Kadaura police station and Dial 112 quickly arrived at the scene.

The police took both the woman and the cashier to the police station for questioning. According to Inspector Prabhat Singh, the woman did not file a formal complaint. Instead, she said she would take legal action in Banda, where she lives.

Meanwhile, the cashier maintained that the woman’s allegations were false and that he had never agreed to marry her.

For now, the police have calmed the situation and sent both parties away. It remains to be seen whether the woman will take further action or if the matter will be resolved peacefully.
