Aamir Khan surprised fans by introducing his girlfriend, Gauri Spratt, during a pre-birthday meet-and-greet in Mumbai on March 13. The actor revealed that he has known Gauri for 25 years and that they have been in a relationship for the past 18 months.
Following the announcement, curiosity about Gauri Spratt has surged online. Originally from Bengaluru, she has spent most of her life there. She is the daughter of Rita Spratt, who owned a salon in the city. Gauri attended Blue Mountain School and later pursued a fashion course, FDA Styling & Photography, at the University of the Arts, London, in 2004. She currently runs a BBlunt salon in Mumbai and, according to reports, has a six-year-old child.

During the press event, Aamir Khan shared that Gauri is now working with his production house. Before making their relationship public, there had been speculation that he was dating someone outside the film industry. Addressing this, he joked, “Dekha, kuch bhi pata nahi chalne diya maine tum logo ko” (See, I didn’t let you find out anything).
Speaking about how they managed to keep their relationship private, Aamir said, “She lived in Bangalore until recently, so I would fly down to meet her. The media scrutiny is lower there, which helped us stay under the radar.”
Recently, Aamir introduced Gauri to his children, family, and close friends, including Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. On March 12, both actors visited Aamir’s house to meet her.
Reflecting on how he maintained privacy for 18 months, he added, “Mere ghar pe focus thoda kam hai. Aap log miss kar dete ho” (There is less focus on my house. You guys miss things).”
As Aamir Khan celebrates his 60th birthday today, he revealed that he has planned a family dinner, where Gauri Spratt will be joining him.
