The Government of West Bengal has declared holiday on 28 May 2026 on occasion of Bakrid. Banks and all government offices will remain closed on 28 May 2026. The Government has also released the official Order regarding the same.

The Government has declared holiday on 28 May but has also cancelled two holidays on 26 and 27 May. Earlier the holidays for Bakrid were declared on 26 and 27 May. Now, the Government has cancelled it and declared holiday on 28 May 2026.
