Qualifications
- 9-12 years of experience in Data Science roles, with significant experience in data science consulting (minimum 5 years in an AI Data Science role).
- Accredited master’s degree in computer science, statistics, econometrics, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in retail banking, payments, financial services, and/or technology industries.
- Proven hands-on experience in advanced analytics and statistical modeling, including:
- Linear regression
- Logistic regression
- Clustering methods (e.g., K-means)
- Principal components analysis
- Classification methods (e.g., decision trees, gradient boosting machines)
- Monte Carlo analysis
- Natural language processing and other techniques
- Experience in designing, building, and deploying machine learning models and algorithms end-to-end at scale.
- Proficiency in AI and machine learning ecosystems such as TensorFlow, Keras, Scikit-learn, Pytorch, Python, SQL, NoSQL, and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience handling large datasets (Big Data): extracting, cleaning, and manipulating data using tools like Python/PySpark, R, SQL, Hadoop/Hive, Presto, SAS, etc.
- Strong project management, organizational, and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 20%.
