UPGBAA merged into UPGBOA; Sudhir Saxena elected General Secretary

The joint conference of the Uttar Pradesh Gramin Bank Officers Association and the Uttar Pradesh Gramin Bank Adhikari Association was successfully held with great enthusiasm and spirit at Hotel Diamond Palace, Faizabad Road, Lucknow.

At the conference, both organisations merged into one. From now on, they shall fight for the interests of officers under one flag, on one platform and with one united voice.

The General Body also unanimously resolved that the organisation would remain affiliated to the All India Bank Officers Association (AIBOA) and the All India Gramin Bank Officers Association.

The conference was graced by Comrade S. Nagarajan, General Secretary of AIBOA, and Comrade D. N. Trivedi, General Secretary of the All India Gramin Bank Officers Association, as Chief Guests.

The House unanimously constituted the new Executive Committee, with the following key office-bearers:

• Chief Patron: Comrade Santosh Tiwari
• Chairman: Comrade Manish Bhadauria
• President: Comrade Tanmay Tiwari
• General Secretary: Comrade Sudhir Saxena

Com. Sudhir Saxena will serve as the General Secretary of UPGBOA and Joint Secretary for AIBOA. About 1100+ members of Uttara Pradesh Gramin Bank’s AIBOC unit joined AIBOA and now UPGBOA is the largest unit of All India Gramin Bank Officers’ Association (AIGBOA).
