Shri Anil Kuril, Chief General Manager of Union Bank of India has been designated as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of the Bank w.e.f. April 15th, 2025.
Shri Anil Kuril holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from DAVV, Indore. He is a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB) and also a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM). With over 30 years of experience in the fields of banking and information technology, Shri Kuril has served in several key leadership roles. These include heading the Central Audit & Inspection department and working as the General Manager of the IT Department. He has also led the Ranchi Zone as its Head. In addition to his professional achievements, Shri Kuril has completed a Leadership Development Program at the Indian School of Business (ISB) and a Certification Programme on IT and Cyber Security for Senior Management conducted by IDRBT, Hyderabad.
