Thieves Attempt Robbery in Punjab National Bank in Bareilly

A robbery was attempted at Punjab National Bank (PNB) branch in Sirouli town of Bareilly. The theft created panic late at night after unknown thieves tried to break into the bank building.

According to reports, the thieves entered the bank by cutting a window at the rear side of the building. They reportedly stayed inside the bank for a long time and tried hard to reach the cash counter and the safe, but failed to break them open. After repeated attempts, the suspects fled without stealing any money.
