Stock Market Closed on May 1: Check Full 2026 NSE, BSE Holiday List

The Indian stock market will remain closed on May 1, 2026, on occasion of Maharashtra Day. On this day, both the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange will remain closed and stock trading will remain stopped.

All segments will be closed. This includes equity, derivatives, currency derivatives, securities lending and borrowing (SLB), and electronic gold receipts (EGR). The Multi Commodity Exchange will also remain closed in the morning session. Any evening trading session will depend on official updates.
