A sexual harassment complaint has been filed against State Bank of India (SBI) Regional Manager at Madhira Town Police Station in Telangana.
The case was registered at Madhira Town Police Station, Khammam, on August 10, 2026. The FIR has been filed against Srinivasa Rao, Regional Manager of SBI.
According to the FIR, the female employee’s first month’s salary had not been credited. She contacted the regional manager over WhatsApp on August 9 at around 8:53 pm regarding the salary issue.
The accused allegedly asked her personal details such as where she was living, whom she was staying with, where her parents were residing and other personal questions.
The accused asked her to come to his office and meet him personally. She alleged he had earlier said that he was alone at home at the time.
She alleged that the regional manager was indirectly seeking personal favours from her.
The police are investigating the case and more details will be released soon.
