SBI provides Rs.3892 crore Loan to ACME Solar

Gurugram, September 11, 2025 – ACME Venus Urja Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ACME Solar Holdings Limited, has secured long-term project financing of ₹3,892 crore from State Bank of India (SBI) for setting up a 400 MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project. The loan will be repaid over 19 years. This is ACME’s largest single funding from SBI and this is also SBI’s first investment in ACME’s FDRE projects.
The project will be installed in Barmer, Rajasthan and has been contracted with NHPC at a tariff of ₹4.64 per unit. It will include the installation of solar power facilities along with a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) to ensure reliable supply and meet dispatch obligations under the power purchase agreement (PPA).
