A video has gone viral from Lakhimpur Kheri district in Uttar Pradesh, showing a bank officer from State Bank of India (SBI) throwing currency notes on dancers during a local fair. The video has sparked controversy and raised concerns about professional conduct and public behavior of bank employees. The video has gone viral on social media. But there is a point to be considered – is there anything wrong in the video?

The person seen in the video has been identified as Pushpendra Rajvanshi, who works as a field officer at SBI’s Nighasan branch. The incident took place during the Barsait Mela (a local fair) held in Daulatpur village, which falls under the Majhgai police station area.

According to reports, a dance program on film songs was being organized at the fair under the label of a cultural program. However, authorities say the event was conducted without proper permission. During the program, Pushpendra Rajvanshi was seen throwing currency notes on the stage where the dancers were performing.

After the video began circulating on social media, officials tried to contact the SBI officer for an explanation. However, Pushpendra Rajvanshi did not respond or give any statement regarding the matter.

Bank authorities and locals have expressed concerns that such behavior is against the professional code of conduct expected from bank officers, especially those working in public sector banks like SBI. The act of showering money publicly not only sets a bad example but also damages the image of the banking institution.

It is yet to be confirmed whether any disciplinary action will be taken against the officer by SBI or higher authorities. What you think about this – let us know in the comment section below.
