A senior manager who worked at the State Bank of India’s Raidurgam branch in Hyderabad got arrested in Visakhapatnam. He’s accused of tricking customers and taking away more than Rs one crore. The manager’s name is Phanikumar.
He got into trouble after the bank checked and saw that he put Rs 1.07 crore of the customers’ money into his family members’ accounts.
Phanikumar ran away when the bank found out about the cheating two months ago. The bank told the police in Raidurgam, and they started looking for him. They made two teams to find him.
Finally, after searching for two months, the police found Phanikumar in Visakhapatnam and caught him. But we still don’t know all the details of what the police found or what will happen to Phanikumar next.
