India’s largest public sector lender, State Bank of India (SBI), has recently announced a revision in its annual maintenance charges for debit cards. The new charges will come into effect from April 1, 2024, as stated by the bank.
According to SBI, in addition to the revised annual maintenance charges, they will also apply the Goods and Services Tax (GST) at the applicable rate of 18 percent on the Debit Cards Annual Maintenance Charges.
