A big fraud has been reported at SBI branch in Rajasthan. As per reports, Officials posted at the SBI branch in Marwar Junction, Pali district, have allegedly committed fraud, causing a loss of around ₹41 lakh to the bank.
The matter came to light during an internal investigation. Following this, the bank management lodged a formal complaint at the Marwar Junction Police Station against a former Field Officer and a former Branch Manager. Police are now conducting a detailed investigation into the case.
Marwar Junction SHO Rajendra Kumar said that Yatindra Singh Meena, an official at the SBI Marwar Junction branch, filed a complaint at the police station regarding the matter.
The investigation at the State Bank of India’s Marwar Junction found the involvement of two former branch officials — former Field Officer Prem Prakash Dobwal, who served from April 25, 2023, to February 14, 2026, and former Branch Manager Manish Kumar Shakhyawal, who served from August 12, 2025, to February 13, 2026.
According to the complaint, both officials allegedly misused bank funds for personal gain while holding their positions. They are also accused of preparing forged documents and using pre-signed blank documents.
In addition, they allegedly tampered with and damaged official bank records. Due to these actions, the bank reportedly suffered a loss of about ₹41.27 lakh, including a cash loss of around ₹24.27 lakh. Police have registered a case against both individuals and started an investigation into the matter.
