There was a significant commotion between the center administrator and the bank manager at Canara Bank Akbarpur. The incident occurred during the collection of the Common University Entrance Examination paper in Ambedkar Nagar. However, the situation was eventually resolved with the intervention of senior officials who were informed about the uproar.
The center administrator accused the bank manager of misbehavior during the incident. The Common University Entrance Examination paper is currently underway in the district, and to ensure the security of the question papers, they were stored in a double locker at the Akbarpur branch of Canara Bank.
This morning, City Coordinator Akhilesh Shukla and the Center Administrator, along with their colleagues, went to collect the papers. However, the bank manager started preventing the center administrators’ colleagues from entering the bank, leading to a heated confrontation between the center administrator and the bank manager.
Upon receiving information about the commotion, the District School Inspector, Sadar Tehsildar, and Inspector-in-charge Akbarpur promptly arrived at the scene to pacify both parties. After an hour-long disturbance, the center administrators were finally able to obtain the examination papers.
Center administrator Dr. Om Prakash explained that the bank manager had been consistently late in opening the bank and was also restricting entry to the associates. This caused the commotion, which subsided only after the intervention of higher officials.
