Rs 270.57 crore NPA in Punjab National Bank

Punjab National Bank has reported a borrowing fraud of ₹270.57 crore in the NPA account of Gupta Power Infrastructure to the Reserve Bank of India. The fraud occurred at the Bhubaneswar branch (Station Square), under the Bhubaneswar Circle Office and Zonal Office Bhubaneswar. The bank has already made provisions of ₹270.57 crore in accordance with prescribed prudential norms.
