Personal Loan is an unsecured loan. This loan is offered mostly to Government Employees against the salary. The Government Employee submit their salary slips and Form 16 to the Bank. The Bank checks the eligibility and sanctions loan. This is unsecured loan as there is no property mortgaged in the loan. If a customer submits fake salary slips, like in this case, then bank incurs a huge loss. So, it’s very important for Bank Employees to check salary slips thoroughly. Bank employees should check the account also, where the salary is credited.
The bank started recovery process. During the process, Bank found that the salary slips were fake. Shivam had submitted a salary slip issued in the name of the Deputy Director of the Animal Biological Medicine Institute as proof of his employment. The bank verified the document with the relevant department and found that Shivam had never worked at that institute. No salary slip had been issued in his name.
The bank’s branch operations manager, Chinmay Aditya Mishra, filed a complaint at the Kalyanpur police station on May 19, 2025.
The police failed to register a case and the bank official filed a petition in the ACJM Court, Room No. 2. Following the court’s orders, the Kalyanpur police registered a case against the accused and began an investigation.
