Robbery Attempt in PNB ATM in Jaipur

A group of thieves tried to steal cash from a Punjab National Bank (PNB) ATM in Jaipur late on Wednesday night. The incident took place around 12:00 AM in the Harmada police station area. However, the thieves were unable to steal any money.

Thieves Flee After Seeing Police Patrol

According to the police, the miscreants tried to break the ATM lock to reach the cash box. While they were attempting the theft, a police patrol team happened to pass through the area. After hearing the approaching police vehicle, the thieves immediately fled the spot without taking any cash.

Police Begin Investigation

After receiving information about the incident, Harmada SHO Narendra Bhadana and his team reached the ATM and started the investigation. The police have also called the Punjab National Bank manager to the site for further inquiry.

CCTV Footage Being Examined

Police said that initial investigation shows the thieves tried to open the ATM lock but failed to access the cash. Officers are now checking CCTV footage from the bank and nearby areas to identify the accused.

Police Hope to Arrest Accused Soon

The police said they are using CCTV footage and other technical evidence to trace the suspects. They expressed confidence that the accused will be identified and arrested soon. The investigation is continuing.
