Robbery Attempt at Punjab National Bank Branch in Budaun
An attempted burglary took place at a branch of Punjab National Bank (PNB) in the Dataganj Kotwali area of Budaun.
Thieves tried to enter the bank by cutting a wall, but luckily, they could not steal any cash or valuables. The entire incident was recorded on the CCTV cameras installed inside the bank.

The incident happened at the PNB branch in Daharpur village of the Dataganj area. According to reports, the thieves tried to enter the bank on Monday night by cutting the rear wall of the building.
On Tuesday morning, when the cleaning staff opened the main gate of the bank, they saw the damaged wall and found the inside area disturbed. The bank officials immediately informed the police.

After receiving the information, the Dataganj police reached the spot and started an investigation. A forensic team was also called to collect evidence from the scene.
Police checked the CCTV footage and saw a suspicious young man moving inside the bank premises. Efforts are now being made to identify the accused with the help of the CCTV footage.
There is a school on one side while residential houses are located on the other side. Some families also live on the upper floor of the building.
At first glance, the case appears to be an attempted burglary. So far, no cash, documents, or valuables have been reported missing from the bank. Police are trying to catch the accused by checking CCTV footage and questioning local residents. After the incident, concerns have been raised about the security arrangements at banks in the area.
