Retired SBI Bank Employee kills himself in Ayodhya

On Wednesday afternoon, in the Kotwali Nagar area of Ayodhya, Rampal Singh, a retired State Bank of India (SBI) employee, committed suicide by shooting himself with his licensed double-barrel gun. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition, where doctors declared him dead.

Rampal Singh lived with his family in the Devkali Adarsh Nagar Colony of Ayodhya. He had been staying at home since retiring from the State Bank of India. According to his family, he had been suffering from mental distress for several months and was undergoing treatment.

It was reported that around 12:30 PM on Wednesday, Rampal Singh shot himself with his licensed double-barrel gun. Hearing the sound of the gunshot, family members and neighbors rushed to the scene. They found Rampal Singh lying in a pool of blood and in critical condition. He was hurriedly taken to the hospital, but doctors declared him dead.

Upon receiving information about the incident, the Kotwali Nagar police arrived at the scene and inspected the site. The police have seized Rampal Singh’s licensed gun. They are investigating the reasons behind the suicide and gathering facts related to the incident.
