The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has cancelled the Certificates of Registration (CoR) of 10 non-banking financial companies (NBFCs) based in Kolkata, West Bengal. The cancellation has been carried out under Section 45-IA (6) of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934.
This decision bars these companies from conducting business as Non-Banking Financial Institutions (NBFIs), as defined in Section 45-I(a) of the RBI Act, 1934. The RBI’s cancellation order was issued on January 7, 2025, and affects the following companies:

Implications of the Cancellation:
