The Ram Mandir consecration at Ayodhya on January 22 is in its final stages and the countdown has begun for one of the largest events of the decade. Amidst this, domestic banks are trying hard to pitch for the various accounts of the Ram temple.

“Many banks including ours have approached the Ram Mandir Trust for their bank accounts as we understand that they will be opening a few more accounts given the donations and payments for various events at the temple, etc, will be part of it,” said a senior officer working with a private bank.

Digital Payments

The trust has also created a page on the website https://srjbtkshetra.org/donation-options/ to contribute donations, and issue passes. Various payment methods including QR Scan Code are available to make payments online on the website. People can also download the receipt instantly.

Paytm has partnered with Ayodhya Nagar Nigam to facilitate mobile payments using QR codes, soundbox, and card machines during the inauguration of the Ram Mandir. The collaboration aims to provide convenient digital payment solutions for the expected influx of devotees. With Prime Minister Modi and over 10,000 dignitaries attending the ceremony, Ayodhya anticipates a surge in visitors, leading to increased business and financial transactions. Banks and financial institutions are expected to open branches in response to the heightened economic activity.
