PNB makes strict rules for Grievances on Transfers

Punjab National Bank has made some strict rules related to grievances filed by employees wrt Transfers.

The grievances received from Officers related to violation of transfer policy affecting their inter-circle/ within Circle transfer will be looked into by 3 members’ committee at HO/ZO level and the appeals will be decided within 15 days of submission. Accordingly, module was created in HRMS for submission of grievance.

Bank has decided that the time line for submission of grievances related to Inter/Intra Circle transfers will be 15 days from date of issuance of transfer order in HRMS.

Although the timeline of 15 days for submission of grievance related to recently issued transfer orders has passed, therefore as a one-time measure, Officers may submit grievance, if any, related to recently issued inter/intra circle transfer by 06.05.2026.

For transfer orders issued on or after 16.04.2026 in HRMS, timeline of 15 days from date of issuance of Order will be followed.

PNB has always been at the forefront in terms of employee welfare. The grievance portal has proved to be very useful in resolving employees’ complaints.

Several PNB employees informed HelloBanker that transfer issues have decreased significantly since the inception of the grievance portal in HRMS. Employees who are not satisfied with their transfers can file an online grievance, which is resolved by the bank authorities on a priority basis.
