Punjab National Bank distributed school bags and sweets to needy students of Government Primary School, Badewal Awana, to celebrate the beginning of the new academic year. This activity was carried out under the guidance of Deputy Zonal Manager Sanjeev Kapoor. During the program, children started the new session with great excitement and happiness. Bank officials also assured that such social welfare activities will continue in the future.
Public Sector Banks always remain committed to the nation. In February, SBI Hyderabad Circle donated Rs 53 lakh to Armed Forces Flag Day Fund. Governor Jishnu Dev Varma commended the State Bank of India (SBI), Hyderabad Circle, for their generous contribution of Rs 53,00,000 to the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund. The cheque was formally presented by S. Radha Krishnan, Chief General Manager of SBI Hyderabad Circle, at Lok Bhavan on Thursday.
