Punjab National Bank (PNB) has been honoured as the Best Bank for Supporting Start-Ups at the MSME Banking Excellence Awards 2025, recognising its strong contribution to nurturing India’s start-up ecosystem.
The award was presented by Piyush Goyal, Hon’ble Minister of Commerce & Industry, Government of India. It was received on behalf of the bank by Executive Director M. Paramasivam and Firoz Hasnain, Chief General Manager (MSME).
According to the bank, the recognition reflects PNB’s consistent efforts to promote entrepreneurship by improving access to finance, offering tailored MSME solutions, and supporting innovation-led start-ups across the country. The honour underscores PNB’s role in strengthening the start-up culture and boosting inclusive economic growth in India.
