People Protest in Rajouri After Alleged Fraud at J&K Bank Palma Branch

A protest broke out on Wednesday in the Palma area of Rajouri after an alleged fraud case came to light at the J&K Bank branch in Palma. Angry residents blocked the Rajouri-Kotranka road, demanding the immediate return of their money and strict action against those involved.

J&K Bank DGM Rajouri, Rajeev Dhingra, said that an SMC committee has been formed to investigate the matter properly. He assured that strict action will be taken against anyone found guilty.

Officials said the situation is being closely monitored, and the administration is working with the bank to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
