Right now, SBI offers two types of digital account –
- Insta Savings Account (without branch visit)
- Digital Savings Account (with branch visit)
Insta Savings Account is a totally digital account. In this of account, you need not visit branch and can open account digitally.
How to open online account in SBI via YONO app?
- Step 1: Download SBI YONO mobile app.
- Step 2: Open app and select – New Customer
- Step 3: Select – Open Insta Savings Account
- Step 4: Enter mobile number and submit
- Step 5: Enter OTP received on mobile number
- Step 6: Enter password and security question
- Step 7: Fill FATCA declaration form
- Step 8: Enter Aadhaar number
- Step 9: Enter OTP received on Aadhaar linked mobile number
- Step 10: Enter your address, photo, PAN, selfie
- Step 11: Enter additional information like education, income, etc.
- Step 12: Enter nominee details
- Step 13: Select nearest home branch
- Step 14: Enter OTP
- Step 15: Enter ATM card details
- Step 16: Your account will be opened and details will be sent on mobile number
