Udaipur, Rajasthan: In a tragic incident, a young bank employee was found dead at his residence on Tuesday after allegedly taking his own life. The deceased, 21-year-old Jitendra Meghwal, son of Nathulal Meghwal, was a resident of Sukhadia Colony in Hiran Magri, Udaipur. He was working in a bank in Banswara. The name of the bank has not been revealed at the request of anonymity.
Two weeks ago, Bank of Baroda Chief Manager in Baramati Pune Died by Suicide Due to Work Pressure. The entire banking industry was shaken by this suicide. But now after two weeks, another suicide in bank has been reported.
According to ASI Virendrapal Singh, the matter came to light on Tuesday morning when one of Jitendra’s colleagues tried calling him multiple times. After receiving no response, the colleague decided to visit Jitendra’s home. Upon reaching, he was shocked to find Jitendra hanging from the ceiling.
The police were immediately informed and they reached the spot, brought down the body, and rushed Jitendra to the hospital. However, doctors at the hospital declared him dead on arrival.
The reason behind the suicide is still unknown, and further investigation is underway to determine the circumstances leading to the incident. More details will be released soon.
