Bihar: A tragic incident happened at the Union Bank of India in Purani Bazar, Lakhisarai district. A cleaning worker, Mitthu Kumar, committed suicide by hanging himself. He was the son of Mukesh Kumar and lived in Lodia village.

The incident occurred in the morning when Mitthu Kumar came to the bank as part of his daily routine. Reports say he first did some work on the computer then, he spoke to someone on his mobile phone. After the call, he took a curtain from a cupboard, tied it around his neck, and went into the electrical room.

This shocking act has disturbed bank employees and local residents. Mitthu made a phone call before the suicide and police is investigating this phone call. The electrical room, where he committed suicide, did not have a CCTV camera.

After learning about the incident, the Union Bank manager, staff, and city police came to the scene. Station House Officer Sunil Kumar Sahni said the mobile phone call might be an important clue. Police have taken Mitthu Kumar’s body and started investigating the case.

Mitthu’s entire family is at the bank. Their condition is reported to be very bad. Family members say Mitthu Kumar was usually a happy person. His sudden death has shocked everyone. Police are trying to find out the reasons behind his decision. The incident has deeply affected the local area. People and bank employees are concerned about the possible reasons for the suicide.
