National Lok Adalat Schedule 2026: The last National Lok Adalat of the year 2025 was held on 13th December 2025. Now, the National Lok Adalat will be held again in the year 2026.
As approved by Hon’ble Mr. Justice Vikram Nath, Judge, Supreme Court of India & Executive Chairman, National Legal Services Authority, the National Lok Adalats will be held on 2nd Saturdays of March, May, September and December during the year 2026. Approved Schedule of National Lok Adalats in the year 2026 is as under:

The purpose of Lok Adalat is to dispose of cases quickly. The following cases will be dealt with in the Lok Adalat in 2026:
i. Criminal Compoundable Offences,
ii. Plea Bargaining Cases,
iii. NI Act cases under Section 138,
iv. Bank Recovery cases,
v. Motor Accident Claim cases,
vi. Compoundable Traffic Challans,
vii. Labour dispute cases,
viii. Disputes related to Public Utility services such as Electricity & Water Bills cases etc. (excluding non-compoundable),
ix. Matrimonial disputes (except divorce)/ Family disputes,
x. Land Acquisition cases,
xi. Service matters including pension cases,
xii. Revenue and other ancillary matters, pending before High Court, District Courts and State/District/Taluka Authorities,
xiii. IPR matters/ Consumer matters/ also other matters pending before any other quasi-judicial authority,
xiv. Other civil cases (rent, easementary rights, injunction suits, specific performance suits etc.).
