About Modern Diagnostic IPO
Modern Diagnostic & Research Centre Limited (MDRC) was incorporated in 1985 and operates as a diagnostic service chain in India. The company offers a wide range of pathology and radiology services, catering to both individual patients and institutional clients. MDRC provides reliable diagnostic tests, home sample collection, online report delivery, and customised test packages based on patient and client requirements.
MDRC operates 21 centres, including 17 laboratories and 4 diagnostic centres, spread across 8 states in India. The company offers various diagnostic services such as ultrasound, CT scan, MRI, X-ray, ECG, pulmonary function tests, and specialised laboratory services for cardiac and neurological care.
In pathology, MDRC offers a broad range of tests, including advanced molecular diagnostics, cytogenetics, and specialised test panels for genetic disorders and cancer. Its radiology services include MRI, CT scans, ultrasound, and digital X-rays, supported by modern equipment such as a 3-Tesla MRI machine and a 128-slice CT scanner. The company also provides home blood sample collection services in several cities, making testing more convenient for patients who cannot visit the centres. As of February 28, 2025, MDRC has a total workforce of 570 employees, including doctors and consultants.
