Meet Nandini Agrawal, The Youngest CA in the World

Nandini Agrawal: Every year, thousands of students across India prepare for tough exams like JEE, NEET, UPSC, SSC, IBPS, SBI and CA (Chartered Accountancy) exams. While many work hard, only a few manage to clear these exams on their first attempt. Among these few, some individuals not only pass but achieve something truly extraordinary.

One such inspiring person is Nandini Agrawal, who made history by becoming the world’s youngest Chartered Accountant, earning a place in the Guinness World Records.

A Bright Child from Morena, Madhya Pradesh
Nandini Agrawal comes from a small town called Morena in Madhya Pradesh. From a very young age, she showed signs of being very smart. She was so brilliant that she skipped two classes in school. Because of this, she completed her Class 10 exams at just 13 years old and Class 12 at the age of 15.

A big turning point in her life came when a Guinness World Record holder visited her school. Meeting this achiever filled her with the dream of doing something special herself — and she decided she would become the youngest CA in the world.
Hard Work, Excellence, and Challenges

Nandini worked very hard for her goal. According to her LinkedIn profile, she wrote:
“I am a Chartered Accountant (with B.Com) who secured All India Rank 1 in CA Finals at 19 years old and All India Rank 31 in CA Intermediate at 16 years old.”
She started her corporate career by working with PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers) as an article trainee. Over time, she gained experience in important areas like:
- Statutory Audits
- Group Reporting
- Tax Audits
- IFRS Assignments
- Forensic Audits
However, becoming successful was not always easy. Because she was only 16, many companies were hesitant to hire her, thinking she was too young. Still, Nandini did not give up. Her determination and confidence helped her move forward, even when doors were initially closed.

Setting Records and Achieving Recognition
Nandini completed her schooling at Victor Convent Higher Secondary School.
At the age of 19, she passed the CA Final exam with flying colors. Her amazing achievement was first recognized by the India Book of Records. Feeling encouraged, she applied to the Guinness World Records in February 2023.

The wait after applying was long and made her nervous. But then, one day, she received an email that changed her life. As Nandini describes:
“At 3:45 PM, my phone buzzed. It was an email: ‘Congratulations, now you are a Guinness World Records Title Holder.’ That moment was unforgettable!”
She credits a lot of her success to her parents, who noticed her talent early and supported her through every step, including allowing her to finish school earlier than usual.
A Historic Achievement at 19
In 2021, when she was 19 years and 330 days old, Nandini scored an incredible 614 marks out of 800 (that’s 76.75%) in the CA Final Exam. This outstanding performance officially made her the youngest female Chartered Accountant in the world, a title proudly recognized by the Guinness World Records.
A Story of Hope for Students Across India
Nandini Agrawal’s story teaches an important lesson: Age does not limit what you can achieve.
With a clear goal, daily efforts, and never giving up even after failures or delays, anyone can turn dreams into reality.
Her journey gives hope and motivation to every student who may feel discouraged or overwhelmed while chasing their dreams.
