Ghazal Alagh, who co-founded Mamaearth, a beauty brand, recently shared three tips on how she keeps her mind at peace despite the challenges of managing seven brands, raising two children, and overseeing more than 1300 employees. On X (formerly Twitter), Ghazal explained, “Juggling 7 brands, 2 kids, 1300+ employees, and more can be really stressful and cause anxiety.”

So, how does Ghazal manage to maintain her mental peace? Here are the three tips she shared with her fans and followers:

  1. She avoids using her phone for the first two hours after waking up and one hour before going to bed. Additionally, she takes a break from all digital devices for five hours every Sunday.
  2. She deliberately sets aside at least 30 to 60 minutes every day to get bored. This allows her mind to wander and encourages creative thinking, which benefits her business.
  3. She doesn’t let other people’s opinions or negative comments on social media affect her beyond a certain point. Instead, she takes necessary action and moves on.
