  1. The couple tying the knot can make a recommendation to the sitting MP or MLA of their area, who in turn will forward the application directly to the Dr. Ambedkar Foundation.
  2. If the application is completely filled and handed over to the state government or district administration according to the rules, even then they can get the benefit. After giving the application, the state government or the district administration sends it to Dr. Ambedkar Foundation.

Documents Required

  1. Dalit i.e. Scheduled Caste community caste certificate has to be attached with the application. 
  2. Marriage certificate is also to be attached with the application. 
  3. An affidavit of being legally married is also to be submitted. 
  4. Document proving that it is the first marriage of the newly married couple.
  5. Income certificate of newly married husband and wife. 
  6. Joint bank account of the couple.
