IndusInd Bank launches ‘Indus StartUp Banking’, Know Features of this new Scheme and How to Apply

IndusInd Bank has launched a new initiative called ‘Indus StartUp Banking’. This new sheme has been launched to support early-stage startups in India. This programme is designed to provide startups with not just banking services, but also credit and additional business support to help them grow from the idea stage to a successful, scalable business.

IndusInd Bank is a leading private sector bank in India but recently it was embroiled in controversy. IndusInd Bank is facing Scrutiny Over Rs.2,000 Crore Derivatives Loss.

India is home to over 1.75 lakh DPIIT-recognised startups, making it the third-largest startup ecosystem in the world. Through this programme, IndusInd Bank plans to work closely with startup founders, offering flexible and customised solutions so they can focus on their main business, while the bank manages their operational and financial needs.

How to apply for this scheme?

Any startup that has been in existence for less than 10 years can apply for this programme through the bank’s website or by emailing startup.banking@indusind.com.

Soumitra Sen, Head – Consumer Banking & Marketing at IndusInd Bank, said that the bank wants to act as a long-term growth partner for entrepreneurs. He explained that the programme aims to simplify daily operations, reduce financial hurdles, and give founders the confidence to scale their businesses.

Features of Indus StartUp Banking

The Indus StartUp Banking programme includes:

  • Startup Current Accounts with a 3-year waiver on non-maintenance charges
  • Access to 250+ APIs via a developer portal
  • Payments and collections solutions
  • Corporate salary accounts for employees
  • “Beyond banking” services such as tax filing, legal advisory, HRMS, and ESOP management
  • Access to premium PIONEER lounges in eight major cities (Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Pune, Chandigarh, Jaipur, and Kolkata) for meetings with clients and investors
  • Exclusive personal banking privileges for founders
  • Expert knowledge sessions to guide entrepreneurs

Apart from this new programme, IndusInd Bank is also contributing to India’s startup growth through partnerships with AIC STPINEXT, DPIIT – Startup India, and IIM Lucknow EIC.
