
Punjab National Bank (PNB) has released an important notice for its customers. The notice is related to inoperative accounts.

PNB Bank Notice
Punjab National Bank has observed that many accounts have remained inoperative for over three years and have zero or no balance. To prevent the potential misuse of such accounts, the Bank has decided to close them as a precautionary measure.
A notice was issued on 16.01.2025 to account holders who have not operated their accounts for more than three years as of 31.12.2024 and have zero or no balance. These accounts will be closed on or after 16.02.2025 without any further notice unless reactivated. To reactivate, account holders must submit their KYC documents at the respective branch by 15.02.2025.
Account holders are strongly advised to reactivate their accounts as instructed to continue enjoying uninterrupted banking services. Accounts not reactivated will be closed on or after 16.02.2025 without any further communication.
