State Bank of India’s online services are currently facing disruptions, affecting internet banking and mobile banking. According to Downdetector, user reports of issues began surging around 3:02 PM IST, with over 800 complaints recorded. The most affected service is mobile banking (62%), followed by online banking (32%) and login issues (6%).
SBI has acknowledged the problem and assured customers that they are working on a resolution. In a statement posted on social media platform X, the bank addressed the issue, stating:
“We are facing technical issues in UPI, due to which customers may face intermittent issues in availing UPI services. UPI services will be resumed by 15:30 Hrs IST on 11.03.2025. Customers may continue to use UPI Lite services for uninterrupted service.”
SBI has not provided further details on the cause of the disruption but has assured users that normal services will be restored soon.
